I had a lot of fun with the treehouse project even though it was kind of a love/hate thing. . . still, i feel accomplished. I am going back to Dallas for break and will use this time to RELAX, spend time with my family, read some vampire books, think of awesome idea's for this next experience/book project, and try to feel good about pushing forward. On the 20th of February my friend Hayden Hartnett passed away. I met her freshman year of highschool. . . right away we were best friends and partners in crime. we got into SO much trouble together. . . for instance, all in one night, we had gotten Fake IDs (at age 15 mind you), got our belly buttons pierced, snuck out, got caught, got our phones taken away, and got busted for both the Fakes AND the piercing because my mom went through our phones. Needless to say she has given me the most awesome memories and everyone who ever knew her can say the same. HERE is an article I found from her college's newspaper. She was studying visual art at Fordham College with a focus in photography. For more than just her talent, for her strength, her ability to make you fall in love with anything, the way i'll never EVER feel bad about eating donuts because she told me "they're basically just sugar and air, so they don't count" hahah... so Hayden.... the things she could come up with... she will truly always be an inspiration to me. There was nobody more beautiful.
“Love is stronger than death even though it can't stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries it can't separate people from love. It can't take away our memories either.”
I plan on celebrating Spring Break with a Snow Cone today from Tad's. . . Nobody loved snow cones more than Hayden. And if you're reading this, YOU should go get one too! - b/c she would have convinced you otherwise.
